Privacy Policy

The Chacal is a hobby project. This policy explains the little data it does collect and why. See also our Terms & Conditions.

When you enter a Sleeper or Fleaflicker league ID, we fetch that league's public data (scores, rosters, standings, transactions, and owner/team display names as shown on the source platform) and cache it in our database so pages load fast. We never ask for or store a password or private account credentials for either platform.

Your list of “recently viewed” leagues is stored only in your browser's local storage — it never leaves your device and we can't see it.

If you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. This is stored in our database and used only to read and respond to your message — we don't use it for marketing and we don't sell or share it with unrelated third parties.

You can ask us to delete a contact submission at any time by emailing us through the contact form.

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run the app:

• Supabase — stores league data and contact form submissions.
• Resend — delivers the email notification when you submit the contact form.
• Vercel — hosts the app.

Each of these providers is bound by their own privacy policy and may process data outside your country. We don't hand your data to anyone beyond what's needed to run the App.

Contact form submissions and cached league data are kept only as long as needed to operate the App, and are deleted on request.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you (e.g. under GDPR). To exercise these, reach out via the contact form.

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
